چکیده
Neuromorphic electronics draw attention as innovative approaches that facilitate hardware implementation of next-generation artificial intelligent system including neuromorphic in-memory computing, sensory perception, and humanoid robotics. Among the various devices, optoelectronic synapses are promising devices use optical means to mimic synaptic plasticity related functions. Compared with classical chip based on electronic using electrical means, photonic light input spike signal can be attractive alternative approach for capable high density, low power consumption, crosstalk. Thus, have been developed overcome drawback conventional synapses. Herein, recent progresses in transistor-based review their device architecture, operational mechanisms, manufacturing methodologies, advanced applications computing visual perception systems focused. Finally, future challenges research direction discussed.

Superconducting optoelectronic circuits for neuromorphic computing
We propose a hybrid semiconductor-superconductor hardware platform for the implementation of neural networks and large-scale neuromorphic computing. The platform combines semiconducting few-photon light-emitting diodes with superconducting-nanowire single-photon detectors to behave as spiking neurons. These processing units are connected via a network of optical waveguides, and variable weights...
متن کاملNeuromorphic computing with multi-memristive synapses
Brain-inspired neuromorphic computing has recently emerged as a promising avenue towards building the next generation of intelligent computing systems. It has been proposed that memristive devices, which exhibit history-dependent conductivity modulation, could be used to efficiently represent the strength of synaptic connections between the neuronal nodes in neural networks. However, precise mo...

Pain serves as a warning of impending injury, triggering appropriate protective responses. Emotional and cognitive processing in the brain is involved in the sensation of pain. As Ca(2+) waves in keratinocytes are mediated by the release of extracellular molecules such as signaling molecules, this may also affect the activity of surrounding cells such as sensory neurons. Although no junctions h...
متن کاملIntegration of nanoscale memristor synapses in neuromorphic computing architectures
Conventional neuro-computing architectures and artificial neural networks have often been developed with no or loose connections to neuroscience. As a consequence, they have largely ignored key features of biological neural processing systems, such as their extremely low-power consumption features or their ability to carry out robust and efficient computation using massively parallel arrays of ...

The efficacy of allergen immunotherapy for the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis with or without seasonal bronchial asthma and anaphylaxis caused by the sting of the hymenoptera class of insects has been clearly demonstrated in numerous well-designed, placebo-controlled trials. Immunotherapy whether by subcutaneous injection of allergen extract or by oral/sublingual routes modifies peri...
